Brief Project Profile
Client is having Integration Competency Centre which develops the interfaces according to their
client's requirement either within Xerox or outside Xerox. This project involves the migration of
WMQI interfaces into WBIMB flows. It also has migration of standalone java application to EJB
based application.
My Role: Designer & Team Leader
- Understand existing solution developed in WMQI
- Transform them into WBIMB flow with new standards.
- Migrate java application into EJB.

Brief Project Profile
This project aims to develop a portal for viewing the information in the XIS repository.
This would centralize all the information available about Xerox, about all the solutions,
applications and interfaces at Xerox. The information is currently being captured in Oracle
tables. This web application would also have the ability to pull up metrics and generate
reports out of the same, for instance, how many messages went for a particular Xerox Customer
for a given month. This project would be using the J2EE architecture with the MVC framework,
struts. Information would be viewed in the form of JSP pages, which would also serve as report
screens. Thus, the application will maintain information about the applications available in
Xerox. The metrics captured would help identify the solutions used most often by the value
chain partners (customers), usage patterns. The project life cycle has been organized into
waves, wave denoting iteration. The first wave is User Management; second wave covers Solutions,
Applications, VCPs and metrics.

Brief Project Profile
This project was to automate PSG (value chain partner for Xerox) lookup process to
Xerox CAPS legacy systems from their Web based licensing tool (WBLT). Initially this
was carried out through manual process where the WBLT users of PSG manually log on
to Xerox CAPS Legacy systems to lookup for data for any product license generation or
renewals. This has been eliminated by leveraging ICC (Integration Competency Center
of Xerox) platform interfaces, which takes care of the handling requests from WBLT and
responses from Xerox Legacy Systems. The benefit of this project to PSG on this is to
eliminate the manual process and bringing in the automated process for data retrieval
from Xerox Mainframe CAPS applications so that the WBLT user doesn’t need to perform
queries directly with various legacy applications. There are four different solutions
developed under this project to deal with four different legacy data processes and each
solution consists of two different components such as web services for front end operations
and IBM Websphere message broker 5.0 for back end operations. Web Service was developed
with WS-I compliance. Project executed using Wipro onsite-offshore model and following
phases were adapted from the start to the completion: Requirements Analysis, Detailed Design,
CUT, System Testing and Support. This project was delivered in an aggressive schedule of around
10 weeks time frame with 2 offshore and 1.5 onsite resources.

Brief Project Profile
This is an IBM Websphere MQ Workflow based workflow system automating 8 HR processes,
like Manpower Requirement, Foreign Travel, Overtime Claim etc. The flow involves a
flexible multi-level approval routing process. The user is able to determine the level
of approval required and the system will route the application form. The flow is e-mail
based, i.e. at the end of every manual activity the next approver/reviewer is informed
about the work via mail. The workflow system also integrates with the other ERP & Data
Mgmt Systems existing in Unilever. Integration is achieved using Websphere MQ Series as
the messaging platform. The application is completely web based and uses a custom built
MQ workflow client.

products like Insure.Sphere & VelociSuite integrated with groupware like IBM MQ Series,
IBM MQ Workflow and IBM Content Manager.
Insure.Sphere is a framework product that provides a complete Document Management System
and Workflow Solutions for an insurance company using. It enables a company to transform
its core manual business processes, into an effective and efficient automating Business
Processes. The complete solution runs on messaging services using IBM MQ Series.
My Role: Project Leader & Process Consultant for New Business & Policy Service processes

Life Insurance Unit. This solution completely automate all business process for

The new business and policy servicing involved green screen integration with Informix 7 database,
which involves screen scrapping. The claim system is completely web base workflow system implemented
with Web Sphere as the application server.

and retrieve as when required. It is an imaging solution. This product is built on VB and
integrated with Content Manager to store data and index information, with user friendly GUI
and easy to use methodology that enables your organization to distribute your Contents through
CD. DLL’s were created in VC++ for content manager API which were not supported in VB.

Brief Project Profile
This formed an offline Java based recruitment testing module. The product follows client
server architecture. The server is a web-based application ported on Domino web server
providing pages to authenticate human resources personnel concerned to conducting tests.
Enable creation of secure encrypted test pagers with 3 incremental difficulty level questions
along with random generation of question. The system also ensures thus only the client recognizes
generated paper on the particular date and after appropriate user verification. The system
caters image-based questions too for aptitude test etc. The client provided a test result in
a word document and also updates the central database

- It reads text files as a source, from the server using Http connection.
- Decodes the received data and paints the output at run time. This may include
painting pictures or drawing strings or creating menu structure on the applet/frame
as and when required.
- It decodes the picture files in PNG (Portable Network Graphics) and prints on the applet.
